It’s difficult for a child to dream when in survival mode. It’s difficult to see the sky when our eyes are filled with tears. Be the light that allows them to dream again. Afterall, they are our future!

The contemporary- realistic and educational children’s book series exhibited on this site were created to bring light, life, and love in a way that would improve conditions that affected the mental health as well as the overall well- being of underrepresented children. Sunny’s Light Books Celebrates all things that bring Life, Light, and Love.
Sunny’s Light Children’s Books
I started Sunny’s Light Books because I wanted to make a difference in education from outside of the classroom. I decided to do that by creating children’s contemporary-realistic literature. I have learned during teaching opportunities that some of the academic challenges that children demonstrate within the classroom are a direct result of their emotional states and their experiences outside of the classroom.
